Full-stack network solution easily managed remotely by 1-person IT team for school

Colegio Sagrada Familia Hijas de Jesús, a school in Valladolid with 1,100 students, needed a reliable, high‑density network to support a planned 1:1 rollout for roughly 550 secondary students while being managed by a single part‑time IT staffer. The school chose Cisco Meraki’s full‑stack solution—Meraki APs, switches, MX security appliance and Systems Manager mobility/device management—to replace outdated hardware and enable centralized, remote administration.

Cisco Meraki deployed MX100, MS220/MS320 switches and MR32/MR18 access points, configured SSIDs, VLANs and geofencing, and used Meraki Systems Manager to tag and manage 550+ devices remotely. The result was instant, noticeable connectivity improvements (students transferred 1.38 TB in the first month), simplified single‑pane troubleshooting, automated reporting, and enforced on‑site restrictions to keep students focused, all managed efficiently by the one‑person IT team.
