Yu Chun Keung Memorial College No. 2 is a bilingual school in Hong Kong serving about 240 students across 24 classrooms. With no full‑time IT administrator, IT teacher Randolph Yau needed a simple, centralized and reliable network; the school chose Cisco Meraki for its full‑stack offering (security, switching, wireless and mobile device management) and the intuitive Meraki Dashboard.

Cisco Meraki deployed MR42 access points, MS switches, an MX security appliance and Meraki Systems Manager, and the entire network was configured in a few hours via the dashboard. The solution now supports 200+ school iPads, enforces VLANs and content filtering, provides real‑time device tracking (the school reports never losing an iPad) and has had no school‑wide outages since deployment, enabling staff to manage the network without third‑party help.
