Case Study: Infors HT achieves centralized network management and improved security with Cisco Meraki

A Cisco Meraki Case Study

Preview of the Infors HT Case Study

Enabling centralized network management for growing manufacturing business

Infors HT, a Swiss-based manufacturer of shakers, bioreactors, and bioprocess software with locations across North America, Asia, and Europe, faced fragmented Wi‑Fi across remote sites and no wireless at its Switzerland HQ. To centralize management and reduce on-site IT overhead, Infors HT deployed Cisco Meraki cloud-managed access points, switches, and security appliances for a unified, centrally managed network.

Cisco Meraki installed APs and switches at all remote locations and APs, switches, and a security appliance at headquarters in 1–2 days, using a single dashboard with RADIUS for company devices, a guest SSID limited by Layer 7 firewall rules, VLAN tagging, and centralized traffic routing. The Meraki solution delivered per-port access policies requiring credentials, virtual stacking for remote per-port changes, built-in troubleshooting and automatic firmware updates, and noticeably improved performance for guests, employees, and WiFi-enabled machinery—earning unanimously positive feedback and saving IT time while future-proofing the network.
