Case Study: CafePress achieves secure, reliable Wi-Fi with Cisco Meraki

A Cisco Meraki Case Study

Preview of the CafePress Case Study

Delivering secure and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity for multi-site, multi-OS company

CafePress, a fast-growing e-commerce company with more than 6.5 million members, needed a robust wireless solution to support employees across its offices and a 150,000-square-foot production facility. Its existing network dropped connections as staff moved between floors, and IT director Steve Shead needed a simpler way to support a multi-OS environment with reliable coverage, security, and flexibility.

Cisco Meraki provided Wireless LAN access points managed through the Meraki Dashboard, making deployment quick and easy to scale. CafePress used multiple SSIDs to separate corporate and guest access, and the new network delivered reliable roaming without dropped signals, even between offices and elevators. Cisco Meraki also reduced maintenance and total cost of ownership significantly, while giving CafePress a more secure, robust, and cheaper solution than its previous system.
