Brookstone, a nationwide retailer with nearly 225 stores, needed fast, reliable Wi‑Fi to support its experiential shopping model and provide associates and customers access to rich product information. After frustrations with a third‑party managed network and lack of visibility, Brookstone chose Cisco Meraki cloud‑managed wireless and switching (MR32 802.11ac access points and MS switches) to deliver scalable, easy‑to‑manage connectivity.

Cisco Meraki deployed preconfigured MR32 APs and MS switches with mesh backhaul and a single Meraki dashboard for centralized, role‑based management, allowing plug‑and‑play installs and a full rollout in four weeks. The Meraki solution gave Brookstone real‑time visibility and troubleshooting, enabled in‑house fixes (including identifying and blocking a bandwidth‑hogging app that drove up 4G costs), significantly reduced time and expense on support, and empowered the team to manage the network across all locations.
