A Cisco Meraki Case Study
Narayana Health, one of India’s largest hospital networks with 21 hospitals, faced outdated, non‑standardized networking that caused poor connectivity, application performance issues, and operational strain on IT teams. As part of a multi‑year IT transformation, the organisation selected Cisco Meraki—using MS switches and MR wireless access points with guest Wi‑Fi—to modernise its campus networking across all sites.
Cisco Meraki implemented a plug‑and‑play switching and wireless architecture managed via the Meraki dashboard and integrated with Cisco security tools, and the solution was rolled out to all 21 facilities in nine months (ahead of the 10–15 month target). The deployment delivered a common SSID for seamless staff roaming and directory authentication, time‑based guest logins that eliminated manual IT provisioning, improved reliability and security, and reduced operational overhead—measurably improving user experience and accelerating Narayana Health’s digital transformation.
