Case Study: Forever New achieves seamless cloud-managed networking and rapid iPad PoS rollout with Cisco Meraki

A Cisco Meraki Case Study

Preview of the Forever New Case Study

Delivering a seamless user experience for rapidly growing fashion retail brand

Forever New, a Melbourne‑founded fashion retailer with 260+ stores in 11 countries, needed a reliable, easy‑to‑manage wireless network to support an iPad point‑of‑sale rollout and day‑to‑day retail operations. The IT team faced interference and poor channel planning from on‑premise access points and had only two staff to manage the environment, so they selected Cisco Meraki (MR wireless, MS switches, MX security/SD‑WAN and Systems Manager MDM) for a cloud‑managed solution.

Cisco Meraki delivered a plug‑and‑play, centrally provisioned network across headquarters and all stores — over 180 MR APs in stores plus an MX appliance, 8 MR APs and 19 MS switches across four HQ buildings — supporting ~250 HQ users, 800 client devices and about 40 TB of traffic per week. Provisioning takes under 10 minutes per store and a single installer completed HQ deployment in four days; the Meraki dashboard now gives Forever New full visibility, improved logging, unified connectivity for managers and support for PoS, IP telephony and WAN optimization, with measurable gains in deployment speed and operational insight.
