Clint Newell Auto Group, a three‑lot auto dealer in Roseburg, Oregon, needed a technology refresh to replace outdated access points, provide consistent wireless coverage for mobile sales staff and contractors, and securely share internal resources across physically separate lots — all with a lean IT team. They selected Cisco Meraki’s cloud‑managed stack (MR access points, MS switches, MX security appliances and Systems Manager MDM) to modernize wireless, switching, security/SD‑WAN and device management.
Cisco Meraki deployed MR34 APs with segregated guest and staff SSIDs, MS320/MS220 switches, an MX400 UTM, and Systems Manager to manage 100+ devices. The solution enabled a custom HTML guest splash page, secure connectivity and resource sharing across three lots, roaming tablet access for sales, location tracking and remote wipe, and faster remote troubleshooting via the Meraki dashboard — delivering more reliable connectivity, simplified network management for the lean IT team, and measurable operational gains.
