Case Study: eTravel achieves resilient, automated site-to-site VPNs and lower TCO with Cisco Meraki

A Cisco Meraki Case Study

Preview of the eTravel Case Study

Automatic VPN connects locations & call center for a better customer experience

eTravel, a Warsaw‑based travel company with five locations and about 200 employees, needed to unify distributed offices and provide robust security and visibility after a pieced‑together, multi‑vendor network left them with poor site‑to‑site connectivity and minimal protection. The company selected Cisco Meraki’s cloud‑managed Security & SD‑WAN and Wireless LAN solution (Meraki MX security appliances and 802.11ac APs, with Auto VPN) to simplify management and harden the network.

Cisco Meraki deployed MX security appliances, APs and a cloud dashboard with Auto VPN, VRRP warm spare redundancy, IDS/IPS, content filtering and bandwidth controls; full configuration and installation took under two days and devices came online in minutes. The Meraki solution delivered automatic, self‑healing site‑to‑site VPNs, centralized monitoring and real‑time alerts, higher availability with automatic failover, and lower total cost of ownership—improving operational continuity and the customer experience across eTravel’s five sites and 200 users.
