A Cisco Meraki Case Study
Argo Turboserve Corporation (ATC), a global supply‑chain and equipment integration company with more than 25 locations worldwide, faced an unwieldy, insecure mix of "off‑the‑shelf" Wi‑Fi and SMB networking with no centralized management and a small IT staff. To gain scale, security, and centralized control, ATC turned to Cisco Meraki and its cloud‑managed stack—starting with Meraki access points and later adding switches, MX security appliances and Z1 teleworker devices.
Cisco Meraki deployed a full‑stack solution—cloud‑managed APs, switches, MX appliances, Air Marshal, Auto VPN, virtual stacking, multi‑SSID traffic shaping and Z1 teleworker units—managed from the Meraki dashboard. The result: ATC cut network problems by about 80%, saw immediate performance improvements, faster site rollouts using templates, simplified hybrid VPNs, continuous rogue‑AP protection, and enabled remote engineers to securely send live data—letting ATC stay lean while maintaining high service delivery.
