Vivint is a leading North American home security and smart‑home provider with over 800,000 customers that uses IoT to protect homes and automate heating, lighting and other services. As the connected‑home market scaled, Vivint needed a more efficient way to manage and provision thousands of devices, deliver world‑class customer service, reduce costly onsite service calls, and rapidly roll out new recurring services.

Starting in 2010 Vivint adopted the Cisco Jasper Control Center and APIs to automate activation, provisioning, remote diagnostics, supply‑chain workflows and SIM management. The platform cut truck rolls (saving more than $100 per onsite call), unlocked more than 1,000 SIMs in minutes, optimized rate‑plan usage, sped service activation and boosted recurring revenue and customer loyalty.
