Radio Data Comms (est. 1999) is an Australian provider of Permaconn, an alarm communications solution that runs over 2G/3G/4G and IP networks. As the company grew to about 20,000 connected devices, manual device activations, time-consuming billing reconciliation and limited visibility into data usage created operational bottlenecks and high overheads that impeded expansion.

After migrating Permaconn to Cisco Jasper Control Center and integrating it with RDC’s Atlas platform, device activation dropped from hours to seconds, billing became transparent, and automated rules, remote SIM diagnostics and real-time monitoring reduced support costs and outages. The platform’s access to 58 operators (550+ networks) helped RDC scale globally to 180,000 devices, improve reliability and efficiency, and accelerate market expansion and investment.
