Osprey Informatics provides a cloud-based intelligent visual monitoring platform for oil and gas operators, delivering real-time analytics, alerts and reporting for remote wellheads, processing plants and pipelines. The company needed a reliable, scalable way to remotely manage mission-critical systems across harsh, dispersed sites while preventing unexpected data costs and simplifying IT integration and testing.

By adopting Cisco Jasper Control Center (and using developer kits from Rogers and Cisco), Osprey built a robust connected-device infrastructure and on-demand deployment model—combining weatherproof cameras, dedicated modems and a SaaS backend. Automation rules let Osprey test devices, deactivate or reclassify misbehaving modems immediately, and tightly control inventory and data costs, enabling faster deployments, reliable scaling and improved safety and security for customers.
