ForePaaS, a Paris-based cloud service provider with about 15,000 users, needed a more versatile, high-performance development and production platform to support microservices and diverse big-data workloads, plus an on‑premises appliance for customers with strict data privacy requirements. To meet those needs it turned to Cisco HyperFlex hyperconverged infrastructure.

ForePaaS deployed Cisco HyperFlex (three HX220c M4 nodes managed with Cisco UCS Manager), giving more than 1.3 TB of memory and nearly 8 TB of storage in two rack units with a one-hour install. Using Cisco HyperFlex, ForePaaS can add storage or compute in minutes, run tests in environments identical to production, ship preconfigured on‑prem appliances to hybrid customers, and accelerate developer innovation—resulting in faster analytics performance, simpler scaling, and quicker time to market.
