Bellevue Group doubles virtual desktop speed with Cisco HyperFlex

Bellevue Group, an independent Swiss financial services firm, needed much faster virtual desktops for traders, researchers, and portfolio managers to handle real‑time market data and heavy Excel models. Their existing Cisco UCS‑hosted VDI was running out of capacity, so the firm evaluated options and selected the Cisco HyperFlex System to boost desktop performance.

Bellevue deployed Cisco HyperFlex (integrated with Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp and VMware) using their familiar Cisco UCS Manager; setup was automated and straightforward. With Cisco HyperFlex, complex Excel calculations now run twice as fast, the environment scales by adding nodes without manual data redistribution, and IT can quickly provision more virtual desktops—delivering clear performance and operational improvements.
