CirrusMD worked with the largest faith-based health company in Texas, specifically its emergency department group, which wanted to improve post-discharge follow-up care, reduce out-of-network use, and increase patient satisfaction. The team needed a way to give discharged ED patients fast access to guidance while also strengthening loyalty and trust.

CirrusMD implemented a text-first, instant-access virtual care solution for post-discharge ED patients, connecting them to a live physician for up to 10 days after a visit and allowing secure text, photo, video, and voice communication. The results were strong: 100% of patients needing additional care were referred to in-network resources, 82% of encounters were resolved on-platform without in-person visits, and patient satisfaction with physician care reached 86%, helping CirrusMD improve both care access and cost avoidance.
