A Cireson Case Study
Saskatoon Health Region, the largest health region in Saskatchewan, supports hospitals and care facilities across more than 50 locations and about 11,000 users with roughly 100 IT staff. Facing an aging BMC Remedy system and selected to pilot Microsoft System Center Service Manager, the region needed greater automation, secure multi‑group/vendor portal access, and mobile capabilities to handle a growing user base without increasing headcount.
Deployed in early 2015, Cireson’s apps (including Analyst Portal, My Active Work Items, and Auto Close) provided a much easier-to-use front end for SCSM, secure access for internal and external users, and mobile access for technicians in the field. The result was improved manageability and usability, clearer oversight across eight IT groups, faster problem resolution, and greater operational efficiency for a small IT team supporting a large environment.
