Tolko, a privately owned Canadian forestry-products manufacturer founded in 1956, supports 2,300 employees across multiple locations with a 35-person IT team managing about 1,800 devices. IT requests were handled by phone and email and, after implementing Microsoft System Center Service Manager, the team found the interface hard to configure and use, with no easy way to prioritize or route work or to access items on the go.
Cireson delivered an Analyst Portal, My Active Work Items and Asset Management to centralize and automate work items, provide mobile access from any device, and give a unified view of hardware and software with forecasting for renewals and replacements. The changes streamlined workflows and prioritization, enabled faster incident resolution and better asset planning, and produced roughly a 20% productivity gain for Tolko’s IT department.
