A Cireson Case Study
The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is a government-owned organization that manages Australia’s rail infrastructure and whose IT team supports about 1,500 users across 50 locations and roughly 3,500 devices. Facing a limited home-grown help desk that lacked automation, effective request tracking and SharePoint integration, ARTC deployed Microsoft System Center Service Manager and evaluated add-ons — ultimately choosing Cireson to address reporting, integration and workflow gaps.
ARTC implemented Cireson’s Business Management Solution—including the Analyst Portal, Dashboards and View Builder—giving staff multi-platform access, customizable analyst views and clear KPI-driven reporting. The result was faster incident resolution, better workload visibility and increased IT productivity; deployment was completed in-house with minimal training (about half a day), and ARTC is rolling out additional Cireson apps for asset management and self-service.
