House of Wisdom launches a custom VR meditation app in nearly a year with Circus

The House of Wisdom, a charitable organization, faced the challenge of scaling its in-person workshops that taught Muslims how to practice dua, a personal form of prayer. They wanted to extend this guided, meditative experience beyond physical sessions so individuals could practice at home without a trained facilitator. They approached Circus to explore a solution using virtual reality.

Circus developed a custom VR meditation app that translates structured prayer pathways into an immersive visual journey. The solution features eight chapters with themed prayers, spatial audio, and animated environments rich with Islamic symbolism. The app launched on the Meta VR store, allowing for personal use and planned group events. This tool successfully provides an inspiring and moving meditative experience, enabling users to visualize and practice their prayers meaningfully at home.
