SevenRooms, a guest experience and retention platform for hospitality operators, was scaling rapidly as demand in the industry rebounded after the pandemic. As the company doubled headcount year over year, its remote engineering team needed a more efficient CI/CD system than Jenkins to reduce infrastructure overhead, support multiple build pipelines, and keep critical iOS and cross-platform releases reliable. CircleCI helped meet those needs.
With CircleCI, SevenRooms streamlined onboarding, eliminated queued builds on its Custom Performance Plan, and ran about 70 parallel feature branches with automated unit, integration, and UI tests. CircleCI also supported better release quality, weekend change control, and SOC II compliance through tools like Dynamic Config and integrations with Jira, Slack, and TestRail. The result was a leaner DevOps function and the ability to release to production 4 to 5 times daily.
