Curative launched in 2020 and quickly pivoted from sepsis testing to high-volume COVID-19 testing, where software became essential for managing appointments, scaling services, and delivering results quickly. As its testing operations grew, the 12-person engineering team needed reliable CI/CD tools to replace manual processes and support increasingly complex workflows, with CircleCI helping provide that foundation.

Curative implemented CircleCI for code testing and build workflows, and soon used it to accelerate new services like an auto-interpretation tool for reporting test results. CircleCI improved test coverage and failure notifications, enabled more complex deployments, and helped Curative scale quickly; the company now operates across CLIA-approved labs, processes about 10% of U.S. COVID-19 PCR tests each day, and has tested over 10 million patients.
