Axios, the digital media company behind newsletters, Axios.com, the mobile app, Axios Pro, and Axios HQ, needed a faster, more scalable way to build, test, and deploy software across its products. Previously using Jenkins for CI/CD, the engineering team was spending too much time patching, upgrading, and managing plugins instead of focusing on development.

Axios replaced Jenkins with CircleCI, using private orbs to standardize deployment workflows across all applications and easily scale builds as needed. With CircleCI, Axios has made about 1,000 deployments in a year, sped up iOS builds by 25%, and enabled 22 parallel integration test sets, saving engineering time and improving delivery speed.
