How Weaving Space sets new members up for long-term success on Circle

Weaving Space, founded by Cally Booker, shifted from in-person weaving classes to online cohort-based learning during the COVID-19 shutdown. The challenge was finding a platform that would be easy for Cally to manage and simple for her mostly non-tech-savvy, often older students to use, while still supporting a strong learning community. She chose Circle because it felt intuitive and familiar enough for members to navigate without friction.

Circle helped Weaving Space create a structured online learning experience with clear onboarding, a welcome tour video, and multiple space types for introductions, announcements, live sessions, casual chat, help, and lesson content. Cally also used Circle to support engagement consistently and to roll out lesson spaces gradually, helping members stay oriented and supported. The result was a smooth cohort-based program that has served 250+ students across 6+ week cohorts and 2 courses, with alumni returning for lifetime access and repeat participation.
