BP, a global oil and gas company with more than 83,000 employees, deployed SharePoint in Azure for content management and collaboration but ran into severe WAN latency and bandwidth constraints. BP deployed Circadence MVO, whose Transport Morphing Protocol–based WAN optimization accelerated SharePoint file transfers by up to 20x, maintained SSL-encrypted sessions without breaking encryption, and provided link resilience and centralized management. The solution restored SharePoint usability, reduced operational costs, and enabled BP’s distributed workforce to collaborate with near–LAN performance.
