Case Study: Royal Zoological Society of Scotland improves performance management with Ciphr’s PABLO system

RZSS engages 45 staff in qualifications with CIPHR

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) sought to move beyond a basic, paper-based appraisal system to a more integrated and positive performance management experience for its staff. They partnered with CIPHR to develop a bespoke online system, PABLO, designed to automate processes and foster a culture where employees take ownership of their development.

CIPHR's solution, PABLO, enabled self-driven performance by allowing employees to draft their own objectives and development plans. The system fostered better manager-employee relationships and provided tools for career planning. As a result, RZSS saw immediate engagement with 45 staff enrolled in qualification courses and 30 completing IT training, driving positive cultural change and directly contributing to the organization's conservation and visitor experience goals.
