RCNi, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal College of Nursing that produces nursing publications and supports around 112 employees across Harrow and Cardiff, relied on an HR team of two and needed to streamline HR and training processes, reduce administrative burden, and improve reporting and transparency for managers and the board.
RCNi implemented CIPHR to automate HR tasks, introduce employee self-service for personal data and annual leave, manage training bookings and approvals, and create configurable MI dashboards. The change saved the HR team significant time, improved reporting and decision-making, increased employee ownership and transparency, and was backed by dedicated account management, training and service desk support — with payroll integration planned next year.
