Latymer Upper School, a leading co‑educational London school of 1,200 pupils, struggled with time‑compressed teacher recruitment cycles and a largely paper‑based HR process. Its four‑person HR team supporting about 350 staff needed faster, more secure shortlisting, better onboarding and easier GDPR compliance.

After implementing CIPHR and CIPHR iRecruit (eRecruitment, onboarding, self‑service, reporting and GDPR support) in September 2017, shortlisting moved online and became accessible on mobile devices, hiring sped up, and new‑starter onboarding became more engaging and trackable. The system’s reporting improved strategic decision‑making, employee self‑service increased transparency and data accuracy, and HR is now far more streamlined and able to focus on higher‑value work.
