Laing O’Rourke trains 4,000 staff on diversity and inclusion with CIPHR

Laing O’Rourke, a large UK-based engineering company, partnered with CIPHR to address the challenge of training over 4,000 staff and subcontractors on diversity and inclusion. The goal was to create an engaging blended learning solution that would dovetail with their ‘People First’ campaign, cater to many different learning styles and time-pressured environments, and tackle issues like ageism and gender bias.

CIPHR implemented a three-pronged solution consisting of an eLearning package, a face-to-face training module, and a standalone module for external partners. This approach maximized learning potential across all teams by providing relevant, thought-provoking scenarios for each department. The HTML5-compatible eLearning course also allowed for flexible, on-the-go training via mobile devices.
