Countrywide, the UK’s largest property services business with over 9,000 employees and some 850 offices, needed to streamline HR across a complex, distributed organisation. The company struggled with manual, inconsistent data entry, payroll and access-management integration, a move to a shared-services model and the large transactional and reporting workload that came with rolling out employee self‑service.
CIPHR delivered integrations (paylink to payroll, API to the JML access system), employee self‑service, automated reporting and a dedicated managed‑service team to handle bulk changes, data cleansing and compliance updates. The result was seamless monthly payroll uploads, up‑to‑date system access controls, elimination of manual overtime processing, 200+ automated reports that boosted HR credibility, and a leaner HR operation — effectively making CIPHR an extension of Countrywide’s HR team.
