Air Business is a 30-year-old logistics firm with four sites in the south of England and around 400 employees. Facing a legacy HR setup built on paper files and spreadsheets, Head of HR Lisa Satterthwaite sought a user-friendly, scalable system to standardise processes, support remote locations, meet accreditation requirements, automate tasks, reduce reporting time and empower managers and employees to maintain their own data.

Air Business implemented CIPHR in a three-month rollout with on-site workshops and training. CIPHR’s self-service, absence management and reporting tools (200 standard reports plus custom options) replaced paperwork and manual processes, cutting report production from half a day to about 10 minutes, improving absence control with automated alerts, reducing administrative burden, and increasing manager and employee engagement; ongoing support is provided via training materials and the CIPHR Service Desk.
