Case Study: Scottish Ice Hockey Association keeps junior players engaged during COVID-19 with Cincopa

Quarantined junior players remain connected during COVID-19 via Cincopa-delivered webinars

The Scottish Ice Hockey Association (SIH), the governing body for ice hockey in Scotland, needed a way to keep junior players physically and mentally engaged after the 2019–20 season was cancelled due to COVID-19. SIH selected Cincopa—using Cincopa Account Site, Cincopa Video Course and Cincopa analytics—to securely deliver a three-episode webinar series (hosted by Harry Manhood) with password-protected access and detailed usage tracking.

SIH uploaded the webinars into Cincopa as a Video Course, bulk-created over 120 user accounts (six profiles per club) via CSV, and used Cincopa analytics to monitor and export engagement data for coaches and management. The vendor’s platform enabled granular reporting and follow-up, with some teams showing high viewership (e.g., Aberdeen U14 90% and U20 94%), helping coaches boost participation and keeping junior players connected during quarantine.
