The YMCA of Greater Toronto, Canada’s largest YMCA market, needed a fast way to reopen its facilities safely during COVID-19 while meeting strict new government requirements. Its existing systems were not designed to support reservation-based access, capacity tracking, and contactless entry, so the organization needed a solution that could work quickly with its existing membership database, mobile app, and swipe-card system.
Cinchy’s Autonomous Data Fabric connected those systems into a single, real-time experience that let members reserve facilities in advance and enter with their existing ID cards. YMCA of Greater Toronto implemented the solution in just a couple of weeks, reduced manual entry monitoring, improved capacity and attendance tracking, and gained flexibility to adapt to changing rules—all while avoiding the need for additional engineering staff.
