Waddle & Friends is a California-based infant apparel and gift company launched in 2013 that grew rapidly to serve about 1,500 specialty and big-box retailers. As wholesale orders multiplied, the company relied on Shopify for payments and a separate inventory/fulfillment system, creating manual workarounds, delayed order processing, inventory mismatches with their 3PL, oversells and unhappy customers.

In 2016 Waddle moved to Cin7 (with the Cin7 Payment Portal), gaining real-time inventory synchronization with their 3PL, integrated sales-channel order management, reporting and backorder controls, plus centralized payment processing with “Pay Now” order confirmations. The result: overselling was eliminated, order and fulfillment time dropped, invoices and payments became visible in one place, and customer, warehouse and service teams reported improved efficiency and satisfaction.
