Case Study: Tilemaze achieves tighter inventory control and less wastage with Cin7

A Cin7 Case Study

Preview of the Tilemaze Case Study

Tilemaze offers a fantastic selection of ceramic and porcelain wall and floor tiles – and Cin7 helps them keep their inventory tidy

Tilemaze is a family-run UK retailer of ceramic and porcelain tiles, operating two shops (Shrewsbury and Telford) with most stock held in a Shrewsbury warehouse. After testing multiple systems, owners Brenda and Ian Foster needed a single solution combining point-of-sale and inventory control—especially batch tracking for palletised tiles that can vary by shade or size—to reduce waste and manage multi-currency imports.

Cin7 delivered that single system: batch-tracking for matching customer orders to identical batches, flexible landed-cost allocation by weight/value/volume, built-in Pounds/Euros conversion, quick email purchase orders and Xero integration. The result is tighter stock control, fewer write-offs, more accurate cost-of-goods figures, faster purchasing work, better customer service and an easier accounting process.
