Case Study: I Love Ugly achieves real-time inventory visibility and cost savings with Cin7

A Cin7 Case Study

Preview of the I Love Ugly Case Study

How a quirky, design-driven business found its place in the fashion world using Cin7 to manage a multi-channel, multi-market supply chain

I Love Ugly is a design-driven New Zealand streetwear brand that grew from a local start-up into an international, multi-channel business selling via Magento-driven ecommerce sites, two flagship stores and wholesale partners. Rapid growth exposed shortcomings in its supply chain and legacy systems: inventory was tracked in spreadsheets and accounting ran on server-based software, leaving the company without timely visibility, causing blind factory orders, inconsistent color-size stock and occasional overstock that strained cash flow.

The company implemented Cin7 for inventory and operations and moved accounting to Xero, adopting cloud-based systems that provide real-time visibility into stock, landed costs and reorder needs. The new setup reduced manual work, improved ordering accuracy, lowered costs and simplified operations—delivering greater transparency, better cash management and significant savings.
