Chalmers Organics is a New Zealand family business behind the TONZU brand of organic tofu, tempeh, yoghurt and vegetarian meat substitutes sold in health stores, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants across NZ and growing in Australia. Rapid growth and a highly complex supply chain — more than 500 customers (30% direct, 70% via distributors), multi‑branch supermarket buying, consignment and commission arrangements, and multiple freight carriers — made inventory and sales tracking difficult; legacy Excel and MYOB processes were error‑prone and slow.

In December 2015 Chalmers implemented Cin7 to unify stock and accounting visibility. Cin7 enabled branch‑level sales tracking, automated invoicing (now processed five times faster) and much quicker reporting, letting the company accurately monitor consignment/commission sales, streamline operations and better measure and pursue growth targets.
