Smollan is an international retail solutions provider headquartered in South Africa, founded in 1931, that delivers in-store merchandising, inventory management and execution services for retailers and manufacturers. As its client base and shared warehouse footprint grew across multiple locations and zones, Smollan struggled to track stock transfers, calculate space utilization per brand or retailer, and produce individual reports and accurate bills for each client.

Smollan implemented Orderhive’s SaaS cloud warehouse and inventory platform, with customizations to capture zone-level space utilization, generate master bills and weekly invoices based on pallets/racks/space, and set client-specific access levels. The result: a centralized platform across five continents that automated reporting and billing, improved warehouse management efficiency, and resolved a large portion of Smollan’s operational challenges.
