PointBank, a locally owned community bank in Denton County, needed to revamp its core banking system and deploy infrastructure for vSoft’s CoreSoft application. As development moved forward, the bank also needed a highly available platform that could support performance requirements for the next 10 years.

Cima Solutions Group designed and deployed a private cloud production infrastructure for PointBank using IBM System x servers, IBM Storwize V3700 storage, VMware vSphere with Operations Management Acceleration Kit, and VEEAM Backup and Replication. By virtualizing the environment, Cima Solutions Group enabled a cost-effective disaster recovery setup, and the overall solution came in significantly less than a typical vSoft hardware deployment while delivering the reliability and efficiency PointBank needed.
