Preview of the Kyko Group Case Study

Transforming Commercial Building Operations with Building Analytics

Kyko Group engaged CIM during the refurbishment of 99 Elizabeth Street to optimise building performance using existing data rather than costly equipment replacements. Their objectives were to lower energy consumption, raise the NABERS rating, improve thermal comfort and achieve sustainability gains with minimal CAPEX by deploying CIM’s PEAK platform.

CIM used PEAK’s continuous 15-minute monitoring and analytics to identify and resolve 69 building performance faults, 52 BMS faults and 17 lifecycle issues, validate contractor work and shift to data-driven maintenance. The results: a 15% reduction in base building energy consumption since 2016, NABERS improved to 5.5 (a four‑star jump), an average 89% thermal comfort rating, and a six‑month investment payback.
