The customer, a prominent commercial office building company, was at risk of its key Sydney asset dropping from a 6-star to a 5.5-star NABERS Indoor Environment (IE) rating. This was due to three malfunctioning sensors that provided incorrect temperature data, a problem that had been overlooked by previous management despite alerts from CIM's PEAK Platform.
CIM's PEAK Platform provided a resolution by supplying the NABERS assessors with an alternative dataset from its continuous monitoring of functional sensors on the affected building level. This allowed the assessors to validate the building's thermal comfort, which resulted in the property successfully retaining its prestigious 6-star NABERS IE rating and safeguarding the REIT's reputation on the Sustainable Portfolios Index.
