Kyko Group - Customer Case Study

Kyko Group, owner of 193 North Quay in Brisbane, faced a major sustainability challenge after the building unofficially received a NABERS rating of zero in 2013. Director Bill Jenkings engaged CIM to minimise operational inefficiencies and reduce energy costs; CIM proposed deploying its PEAK Platform alongside targeted refurbishments such as Building Management System and VSD upgrades.

CIM implemented the PEAK Platform plus ongoing optimisation and the supporting upgrades, driving the NABERS rating from 0 to an ‘Excellent’ 5‑Star (surpassing the 4‑Star target). Measured results include roughly 21% energy reduction and 4.8 GWh saved, a 32.3% drop in base building energy costs, 17% improvement in thermal comfort, ROI in 18 months, and higher tenant satisfaction and asset value.
