Data, the key to major sustainability changes at 6&7 Eden Park Drive

Altis Property Partners, owner of 6&7 Eden Park Drive, faced a challenge: although the building was collecting energy data, it wasn’t being used to optimise HVAC performance, leading to inefficient operations and tenant complaints. Managing agent CBRE recognised the need for a data-driven approach and engaged vendor CIM to apply its PEAK building analytics platform to meet Altis’s sustainability targets.

CIM deployed PEAK to automatically collect and analyse thousands of data points, detect faults, and deliver engineering recommendations that CBRE and contractors implemented. The result: a 13% annual electricity reduction (301 MWh), 9% gas reduction (129 GJ), 280 tCO2 saved (equivalent to 60 cars or 32 homes), a NABERS Energy uplift to 5.55 (from 5.1), and placement in the top 13% of Australian commercial assets for sustainability.
