Case Study: Charter Hall achieves portfolio-wide operational efficiency through digital transformation with CIM's PEAK Platform

A CIM Case Study

Preview of the Charter Hall Case Study

Charter Hall’s partnership with CIM drives portfolio efficiency through digital transformation

Charter Hall, a leading Australian property group, sought to digitise its Office portfolio to improve portfolio visibility, team collaboration, operational efficiency, tenant experience and environmental performance across 58 office sites (1.45 million sqm). To achieve this, Charter Hall partnered with CIM and deployed the PEAK Platform as the core building analytics solution to consolidate data and drive a more data-led operational model.

CIM’s PEAK Platform consolidated 13 data providers into one system, onboarded the portfolio in an average of five weeks and continuously monitors ~243,000 streaming points to deliver actionable insights. The platform enables 244 active stakeholders, has supported resolution of 2,978 actions at an 82% closure rate, and earned a facilities manager NPS of 58. Measurable impacts include improved indoor-environment scores (up to 91% from 84%), a 19% decline in portfolio electricity since 2019, 17.4 million kWh saved (≈12,000 tCO2 avoided) and average NABERS gains (Energy +0.18, Water +0.14), demonstrating CIM’s role in Charter Hall’s digital and sustainability progress.
