Centralising and uplifting GPT Retail portfolio performance with CIM

GPT Group, one of Australia’s largest diversified property owners, needed to centralise and uplift performance across eight shopping‑centre buildings — improving visibility into operations, coordinating multiple onsite teams and vendors, and cost‑effectively meeting energy and environmental targets. To tackle these challenges, GPT Group engaged CIM and its PEAK building analytics platform to aggregate site data, monitor equipment and drive portfolio‑wide optimisation.

CIM deployed PEAK (data acquisition devices, 15‑minute analytics, rules‑based algorithms and automated ticketing) across the eight sites, giving centralised dashboards, real‑time fault detection, contractor accountability and ongoing engineering support. The CIM solution monitors >1,500 pieces of equipment and 26,901 data points, achieved an 8.5% reduction in electricity use, saved ~1,600 tCO2, lifted portfolio NABERS by ~0.4 stars across 531,368 m2 and streamlined operations across the GPT Group retail portfolio.
