How CIENCE Keeps Enriching Scalefast’s Account Database

Scalefast, a cloud-based eCommerce platform that helps brands sell direct-to-consumer globally, faced the challenge of building a qualified account database to fuel outbound and inbound sales and marketing efforts. To solve this, Scalefast partnered with CIENCE, Inc. for market research, lead generation, and database enrichment so their sales team could focus on closing rather than prospect qualification.

CIENCE, Inc. deployed dedicated researchers to review and verify prospects, enrich firmographics and technographics, and refresh Scalefast’s CRM; they delivered weekly lists of roughly 80 reviewed accounts and, over the multi-year engagement since June 15, 2017, researched thousands of accounts. The work led to a drastic increase in CRM records of qualified and nonqualified accounts, significantly reduced ramp-up time for marketing research and lead qualification, and allowed Scalefast’s sales and marketing teams to concentrate on higher-value tasks.
