Social Market Analytics, a leader in unstructured financial data, needed to take new products—U.S. Machine Readable Filings (MRF), Global MRF (GMRF), a dashboard and two APIs—to market but lacked a scalable, repeatable outbound go-to-market process. Founder-driven sales made growth sporadic, so Social Market Analytics engaged CIENCE, Inc. to build an end-to-end outbound sales and marketing campaign that would create messaging, identify ideal customer profiles, and generate warm, qualified leads across banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and other financial firms.
CIENCE, Inc. implemented a multi-channel program—developing ICPs and sales playbooks, running email/LinkedIn sequences and outbound calling, and creating landing pages and programmatic ads—while operating as an integrated extension of SMA’s team. Launched in September 2021, the campaign produced six appointments in the first three months, higher open rates on email and LinkedIn, successful phone outreach, and a steadily growing pipeline of qualified leads, filling Social Market Analytics’ funnel and delivering a scalable, repeatable go-to-market engine.
