Tely, a telecommunications company in João Pessoa, Brazil, operates a nationwide 20,000km fiber-optic network across 200 cities and needed more capacity to handle rising traffic between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. To support its growing wholesale connectivity and cloud/data service demand, Tely turned to Ciena and its Waveserver Ai compact interconnect platform.
