Digital Realty, formerly known as Interxion, needed a way to expand its Marseille operations despite real-estate and power constraints. To overcome this, it planned a second data centre four kilometres from the original site and required a high-speed Data Centre Interconnect (DCI) solution to connect the two facilities.
