Paychex, a provider of human capital management solutions, sought to build a stronger pipeline of female leaders through a Women in Leadership initiative. Their key challenge was creating an effective mentoring program, specifically finding software to efficiently match high-potential women with the right mentors based on detailed criteria and to track the program's impact. They turned to the vendor Chronus for a solution.

Chronus provided its mentoring software, highlighted by the MatchIQ algorithm, to facilitate intelligent mentor-mentee matching and offer robust reporting via an admin dashboard. Using Chronus, Paychex increased retention for program participants to 94%, 14% higher than the company average, and grew the number of women in leadership roles by 3%. Furthermore, 86% of mentees achieved their development goals, and the program saw strong ongoing engagement from participants.
